And the PvP unlock gives you so much for the same price as regular chapters. In fact, it gives so much that it does not even give you extra character slots.

From what I'm reading... the only titles that get put into the HoM are complete titles? So things like Kurzick/Luxon Titles are gonna be very rare....

People aren't supposed to fill their monuments right now. We have 2 years until GWEN... Anet wants you to keep playing- don't get hooked on Age of Conan, WoW, Fury, or some other game in the meantime.

LOL r12 for hero? r9 for glad? only 1 person ahs it. r9 for champ? the highest is chop chop i think wit glad 6-7. all i can say is that i think u should change so that any tier would be shown, jsut varying the name by tier adn that the rewrads confered in gw2 change based on wut rank u acutlaly are, or every 3 rank.

Yeah, as it is now, the whole thing is for 'no-life' type of addicts. And no way normal player can get all PVP titles that high. How about lowering the requirements, if the above proposal couldn't be implemented? Hero r10, Glad rank 6 and champ rank 3 would be pretty ok....

I think its fine, r12 is high, but theres plenty of time before GW2.

Its nice to have things that arent for the average joe, if they lowered it just so all the lazy people can display their moose statue then it would be worthless.

Yeah, when you look at the single title, like rank 12 hero, its fine. Not that high anyway. But take into consideration that the amount of time needed for all 3 titles to get to those numbers is simply crazy. But I guess maybe thats the plan. Virtually no one will have all 3 of them, many will have one, few two of them....

IF this was somehow to keep players hooked until gw2 comes out, then I have lost all faith in them. THIS Game was advertised to be less grinding and more action, yet now its turning to more and more grinding (Sunspear, pve title tracks, Favor change) and now HOM requires these super high lvl titles.... LET me tell you, there are more games that are better than GW when it comes to pve content if you tolerate the grind and players will switch as simple as that. SO WHAT THE HELL IS ANET DOING

I agree completely. I'd be playing some other games if I can tolerate pointless grinding of any kind to begin with. At least in those games, I actually GET SOMETHING out of it each time I grind.

Well, time to move on from this crash-and-burn I think.

I think the Hall has several bugs in it, I posted my FOW armor for my war and was granted a RIt statue and a Sin??

Also I used another tapestry to post my weapons, but was told my R8 max gold Zodiac with perfect mods was not good enough, Only the Greatest Weapons can be posted here, was the coment I recieved......

Major fixes are in the works or this bodes very poorly for us all.....

So I can display a nice big statue of Dunkoro, a guy that took me all of five minutes to unlock. Fun times, he looks spiffy standing next to the Black Moa bird statue. But I have to be rank 12 to display a PvP accomplishment? And that's the *easiest* title? WTF?

I'm reminded of stories of those hardcore korean guys who die while playing a MMO, because they forgot to eat or go to the bathroom or whatever. That's what a.net is saying they want by making the title requirements for a Honor trophy so high. I know there's isn't a single person at a.net would want such a thing, but in essence that's what they've ended up creating.

No sane person would undertake such a task just to get a little bauble in GW2.

Dear A.net: Display any PvP title at any level, including Gamer, on the Honor scoreboard. Just make the trophy a little bit bigger/fancier for higher ranks.

Duh.

Indeed at least in those games GRINDING Actually rewards you, but in GW is becoming more and more grinding and less and less rewarding.

OO I CAN GRIND LIKE 20 HRS a day and get some sexy title that no one care to look at! OOO I can grind hours upon hours for that fow armor and is no better than my old armor!

Part of the reason I bought Guild Wars was for its "Skill not time played" advertising (anyone remember that?)

I dont grind. I hate grind. I dont grind titles, I don't farm. I have 2 mixtures of 15k armor (one for my war, one for my monk), 15k armor on my Monk's Koss, and a few nice weps, with my nicest one being a req9 zodiac staff
My best title is probably my [unfavored] title. (It would be kurzick what with my nearly 1 million faction gained JUST FROM AB AND FA) but Anet messed up the way those titles are displayed (im a r2 with 308k, woot....)

So with my 2400hrs over 21 months played so far, im going to get what? 1 hero and maybe a few weps in my hall?

So much for "Skill not time" now its "grind grind grind grind grind grind ftw, loyal Anet fans"

oh wait, that shoulda happened months ago.... this is "our prep" for the real.... this is when we "point out little problems" wait.... what little problems, oh i got one, u get stuck on an animal... HoM is a HUGE problem, and so are many other things that this.... "preview" has posed to the GW player community.
